Description
The Yale CPS Electric Chain Hoist is a compact, high-performance lifting solution designed for maintenance operations, jib cranes and light crane systems. Despite its powerful lifting capability of up to 250kg, this rugged hoist weighs from just 12kg, making it one of the most portable and versatile units in its class.
Built in the USA to the high manufacturing standards associated with Yale lifting equipment, the CPS hoist delivers outstanding reliability, durability and ease of use. With an M4 high duty rating and the ability to handle up to 240 motor starts per hour, it is engineered for demanding commercial environments where consistent performance is essential.
The hoist features a thermally protected hoist-duty motor, lifetime-lubricated gear train and precision bearings to ensure smooth, efficient operation with minimal maintenance requirements. Its 10-pocket oblique-lay lift wheel promotes constant chain speed while reducing chain wear, extending service life.
Designed with user safety and practicality in mind, the CPS includes overload protection as standard, a 48v low-voltage control system, and an IP54 rated enclosure to protect internal components from dust and moisture. The rugged cast aluminium housing and totally enclosed non-ventilated frame further shield the motor from environmental contamination.
With its small footprint, lightweight construction and straightforward installation, the Yale CPS truly lives up to its reputation as “one big little hoist.”
