The Yale YAM Machine Jacks with Lifting Claw from Yale are purpose-built for professional lifting tasks where minimal ground clearance prevents the use of conventional hydraulic jacks. Ideal for workshops, manufacturing plants, construction sites, and maintenance environments, the Yale YAM range excels in applications such as machinery installation, heavy steel structure handling, framework alignment, scaffold adjustment, and high-rise warehouse levelling. Their compact yet powerful design allows operators to safely engage loads at extremely low pick-up heights.
Each jack features a robust lifting claw that enables access under tight clearances while maintaining full rated lifting capacity. Uniquely, the same load can be lifted using either the head or the claw, providing valuable operational flexibility across different lifting scenarios.
Safety and control are central to the YAM design. An integrated safety pressure valve protects against overload conditions, while the precision-adjustable lowering valve allows smooth, controlled descent of the load. The large base plate enhances stability during operation, reducing the risk of tipping under heavy loads.
For improved ergonomics in confined working environments, the pump lever rotates through 270 degrees (excluding the YAM-2 model), allowing operators to work efficiently even when access is restricted. Additionally, the YAM-5 and YAM-10 models feature a spring return lifting claw for faster and more convenient operation.
