With a working load limit of up to 20,000 kg, this suspended trolley hoist is ideal for manufacturing plants, engineering workshops, warehouses, and assembly lines where efficient load transport and accurate positioning are critical. Powered Beam Trolley

Two trolley configurations are available to suit different operational requirements. The standard (normal) trolley is designed for straight beams and typical industrial applications, while the articulated trolley allows the hoist to travel along curved beams, making it ideal for complex layouts or production facilities with radiused track systems. This flexibility makes the DRH suspended trolley hoist a highly adaptable solution for bespoke crane installations.

The trolley system is engineered for durability and precision, featuring idler and drive wheel assemblies with precision-machined steel wheels mounted on spherical, permanently lubricated bearings. The drive wheels are connected via a crown gear transmission bar, ensuring smooth, stable, and vibration-free movement during operation.

Powered by a conical self-braking motor, the trolley provides controlled acceleration and deceleration, allowing for precise load positioning and enhanced operational safety. This is particularly important when handling sensitive or high-value components where accuracy is essential.

Donati Hoist Built to Specification

The system offers a range of trolley travel speeds, including both single-speed and dual-speed options, allowing users to tailor performance based on operational needs. The integrated helical gear reducer, permanently lubricated in an oil bath, ensures quiet operation, minimal wear, and reduced maintenance requirements.

The hoisting unit retains the full performance capabilities of the DRH range, including 2 or 4 rope fall configurations, lifting speeds from 2 m/min to 12 m/min, and hook travel up to 58 metres, depending on drum size. This ensures the hoist can be customised for a wide range of lifting applications.

Hoists With Built-in Safety Features

Electrical safety and reliability are ensured through IP-rated motor protection, thermal sensors, and integrated overload protection systems, providing safe and consistent operation in demanding industrial conditions. The hoist is designed for use in temperatures ranging from –10°C to +40°C, making it suitable for most indoor environments.
