Description

Compact Scaffold Hoist for Temporary Access and Site Lifting

The BHW CWS Mini Electric Scaffold Hoist (80–300 kg WLL) is a lightweight, compact, and high-efficiency lifting solution designed specifically for scaffold-based lifting applications and temporary access systems. Suitable for use on construction sites, maintenance projects, and installation work, it provides safe and reliable vertical lifting up to 30 metres.

80–300 kg Working Load Limit (WLL) with Multiple Capacity Options

Available in multiple capacities (80 kg, 160 kg, 230 kg, and 300 kg models), and powered via standard 110V or 240V single-phase supply, the CWS scaffold hoist is designed for flexibility across UK site conditions. The 110V models are transformer-compatible for enhanced on-site safety, while the 240V versions offer direct connection for convenience.

Automatic Overwind Limiter for Enhanced Rope Protection

A key safety feature of the CWS range is the integrated automatic overwind limiter, which prevents the wire rope from being pulled excessively into the hoist casing during lifting. In addition, a reverse winding limiter prevents incorrect spooling, protecting both the hoist and wire rope from damage.

The hoist is fitted with a dynamic and mechanical braking system, ensuring immediate and secure load holding during operation. This dual braking design enhances safety and provides controlled lifting and lowering performance even under repeated use.

Supplied with Galvanised Non-Spin Wire Rope (7×18 Construction)

Each unit is supplied with galvanised non-spin wire rope (7×18 construction), offering improved durability, reduced twisting, and extended service life in demanding site environments. A 360° swivel safety hook with integrated latch is included as standard for secure load attachment.

Scaffold-Specific Safety Locking System for Secure Mounting

Designed specifically for scaffold use, the hoist features a spring-loaded scaffold safety locking system that ensures secure attachment to scaffold structures. This improves stability and reduces the risk of accidental detachment during lifting operations.

IP65-Rated 10m Pendant Control with Emergency Stop

Control is provided via a 10-metre IP65-rated plug-in pendant with two-button operation and emergency stop, allowing precise control from a safe working position. A 5-metre power lead with commercial plug is included for quick installation.

Optional Scaffold Jib Arm and Radio Remote Control System

Optional accessories include a scaffold-mounted jib arm with 180° rotation (load tested up to 230 kg), pendant control extensions, and a plug-and-play radio remote system for improved operational flexibility.

Fully Compliant with BS EN Standards, CE & UKCA Certified Design

Manufactured in accordance with BS EN 14492 hoist standards and fully CE and UKCA certified, the BHW CWS Mini Electric Scaffold Hoist is a trusted solution for safe, efficient, and compliant lifting in scaffold environments.
