The YEGB High-Tonnage Hydraulic Cylinder range is purpose-designed for demanding lifting, levelling, positioning and supporting applications involving extremely heavy loads. With capacities from 140 to 1100 tonnes, YEGB cylinders are a robust and economical solution for industries that require dependable performance without unnecessary complexity.

These single-acting, gravity return hydraulic cylinders are widely used across steel construction, civil engineering, infrastructure projects and heavy industrial maintenance. Typical applications include lifting and lowering bridges, supporting buildings and foundations, jacking up heavy machinery, positioning steel sections, handling ship modules and moving large mechanical assemblies.

Operating at a maximum pressure of 700 bar, YEGB cylinders deliver high lifting force with controlled, predictable operation. The gravity return design ensures simple, reliable piston retraction once pressure is released, making them ideal for applications where lowering is controlled externally and fast hydraulic return is not required.

The piston is guided by special guiding bands, providing excellent stability under heavy loads and minimising side forces on the cylinder body. A hard chromium-plated piston improves wear resistance, corrosion protection and service life, even in harsh site conditions. An overflow hole acts as a definite piston end stop, enhancing operational safety and preventing over-extension.

Each cylinder is equipped with an interchangeable hardened saddle, allowing secure load contact and easy replacement if worn or damaged. The 3/8 NPT oil port ensures compatibility with standard high-pressure hydraulic systems, and every model is supplied with a female coupler half CFY-1 for quick integration into existing setups.

For safe handling and positioning, all YEGB cylinders are fitted with lifting rings as standard, making installation easier on construction sites, in workshops or during on-site maintenance work.
