Description

The Yale VHP and VHH directional valves are high-pressure, manually operated control valves designed for use with hydraulic power packs and hand pumps in 700 bar hydraulic systems. They provide safe, precise and reliable control of oil flow to hydraulic cylinders in lifting, pressing, clamping and maintenance applications.

All valves feature three lever positions for direct control of cylinder movement:
Left ? cylinder advance
Centre ? neutral / hold position
Right ? cylinder retract

In the centre position, the piston stops and the oil flow is routed back to the reservoir (P ? T), creating a pressureless circuit for safe holding and controlled operation. Depending on the selected model, valves are available with either open-centre or closed-centre configurations to suit different hydraulic system designs.

The VHP series is suitable for single-acting and double-acting hydraulic cylinders and can be flanged directly onto hydraulic power packs or connected remotely using hydraulic piping. For additional flexibility, all VHP and VHH valves are equipped with a secondary pressure oil port (P) on the rear of the valve body. This port allows easy connection of a pressure gauge or an external pressure relief valve (e.g. Yale VPR-1).

The T (tank) port must always be connected to the reservoir without back pressure to ensure correct function and long service life.

The VHH-4/3 directional valve is a compact, special-design version intended for direct mounting onto Yale HPS hand pumps (with connecting set FY-703). It is also suitable for small hydraulic power packs where space is limited.

Manufactured for demanding industrial environments, Yale VHP and VHH valves offer long service life, precise control and full compatibility with Yale?s 700 bar hydraulic system components.
