Description

The Yale HTP and HTG push and geared trolleys are engineered to enable the safe, controlled traversing and exact positioning of suspended loads along steel beams. Suitable for use with both manual and powered hoists, these trolleys are a versatile solution for workshops, manufacturing plants, warehouses, steel fabrication facilities, shipyards, and heavy industrial environments.

Both trolley types are manufactured with machined steel wheels mounted on pre-lubricated, encapsulated ball bearings, ensuring excellent rolling characteristics and low rolling resistance even under high loads. This design provides smooth travel, reduced effort during operation, and long service life.

The HTP push trolley is ideal for lighter to medium loads where manual positioning is sufficient, while the HTG geared trolley is recommended for heavier loads or applications requiring precise and controlled movement via hand chain operation. The geared version allows operators to move loads accurately with minimal physical effort, making it particularly suitable for higher capacities and frequent repositioning tasks.

Both trolley variants are adjustable to fit a wide range of beam widths and profiles, including INP, IPE, and IPB sections. For capacities up to 5,000kg, adjustment is achieved by rotating the clevis load bar, which automatically centres the hoist within the trolley and prevents lateral drifting. From 8,000kg and above, adjustment is carried out using sleeves and washers to ensure robust and secure beam fitting.

The trolley wheels are designed to accommodate a maximum beam profile incline of 14% in accordance with DIN 1025-1, making them suitable for a wide variety of runway configurations. Optional features such as locking devices allow the trolley to be secured in a fixed park position, particularly useful in marine or offshore environments.

For specialised applications, optional configurations are available including stainless steel hand chains, rotating hand chain guides, and high-temperature bearing versions rated up to 350øC (with reduced load capacity at elevated temperatures). With load ratings extending up to 50 tonnes, the Yale HTP and HTG trolley range delivers exceptional flexibility, durability, and performance.

Safety / User Instructions:
– Always ensure the trolley is correctly adjusted to match the beam width, thickness, and profile before use.
– Do not exceed the rated working load limit (WLL) of the trolley or hoist.
– Inspect wheels, bearings, locking devices, and adjustment components before each operation.
– Ensure loads are evenly distributed and travel paths are clear of obstructions.
– When using high-temperature versions, observe the reduced load ratings above 250øC.
– Yale trolleys are not designed for passenger lifting and must not be used for this purpose.
