The Yale Rescue Winch for Tripods is a professional rescue and retrieval winch designed for use with personnel tripods during confined space entry, rescue and working at height operations. Supplied with a dedicated mounting bracket and featuring an automatic braking system, it provides controlled lifting and lowering of personnel in safety-critical environments.

Available with 20 metre or 25 metre cable lengths, the winch is fitted with a durable 6.3mm cable for reliable performance during repeated rescue operations. The integrated automatic brake prevents uncontrolled descent and allows precise positioning during lifting and lowering.

With a 140kg working load limit, the winch is suitable for the safe recovery of a single person and is commonly used in manholes, shafts, tanks, silos and underground chambers. When used with a compliant personnel tripod and full body safety harness, it forms a complete access and rescue system.

The Yale rescue winch conforms to BS EN 1496, meeting UK and EU requirements for rescue lifting devices and supporting emergency rescue planning under working at height and confined space regulations. Weighing 13kg, it offers a balance of strength and portability, with secure attachment provided by the supplied mounting bracket.
