The AYB Tilt Saddle range is designed to improve safety, performance and service life when operating high-tonnage hydraulic cylinders on uneven or non-parallel surfaces. These precision-engineered accessories are ideal for construction, bridge works, foundation support and heavy machinery installation, where perfect load alignment cannot be guaranteed.

Tilt saddles are particularly recommended for YELB hydraulic cylinders with safety lock nut and YEGB high-tonnage cylinders, and are also compatible with YEHB double-acting cylinders. By allowing controlled articulation between the load and piston, AYB tilt saddles help reduce eccentric loading, minimising internal friction, seal wear and the risk of premature cylinder failure.

Each AYB saddle can pivot up to 5ø in all directions, allowing the load to self-align as lifting force is applied. This ensures even load distribution across the piston face, reducing side loads and improving lifting accuracy and operational safety during heavy-duty jacking and structural lifting tasks.

AYB tilt saddles are secured into the piston using an integrated O-ring, providing a stable fit while allowing quick installation and removal. Available in multiple sizes to suit cylinders from YELB-30 and YELB-50 up to YELB, YEGB and YEHB 520-series, with larger sizes available on request.
