Yale YBF-L Spring Balancers are engineered for industrial environments where standard rope length is insufficient. Featuring extended rope travel compared to the standard YBF range, these balancers allow tools to be positioned over a wider working height while maintaining smooth and consistent counterbalancing.

Using a tapered rope drum, the YBF-L range compensates the weight of suspended tools across the full working range, allowing loads to feel virtually weightless during operation. This significantly reduces operator fatigue and improves accuracy during repetitive or heavy-duty tasks.

Manufactured in accordance with DIN 15112, the balancer housing is produced from high-tensile aluminium pressure die casting, providing excellent durability and impact resistance. The internal spring assembly delivers consistent performance and is supplied as a separate enclosed steel unit on models above 5kg, improving safety during handling and maintenance.

Wire rope exchange is quick and efficient thanks to an access slot in the housing, allowing rope replacement without dismantling the unit. A manual drum lock is fitted to applicable models, enabling safe load changes and secure rope handling.

Wear-resistant nylon rope guides are fitted on mid to higher-capacity YBF-L models, reducing friction and extending service life. Selected models include a load indicator for fast and accurate capacity adjustment. Upper and lower suspension eyes allow the attachment of secondary safety chains for added protection.

YBF-L spring balancers are ideal for spot-welding guns, riveting equipment, assembly tools and other applications requiring extended vertical movement.
