Description
The Pewag Winner Profilift PLE/N Eta Weld-On Lifting Point is a tried-and-tested solution for permanent lifting applications where loads may be applied from any direction. Designed for welding directly onto machine components, steel structures or vehicle bodies, the PLE/N Eta combines robust construction with proven safety and flexibility.
Manufactured from Grade 8 high-strength steel, the PLE/N Eta has earned its reputation as a dependable weldable lifting point for industrial environments. Unlike direction-restricted lifting points, this model is approved for pull in every direction, provided the stated working load limits and inclination angles are observed. This makes it particularly suitable for applications where load direction cannot always be precisely controlled.
An integrated spring mechanism keeps the lifting ring in the required position, improving ease of handling during attachment of lifting or lashing equipment and helping prevent uncontrolled movement. This feature also supports safer welding and rigging by ensuring correct ring orientation when required.
The PLE/N Eta is ideal for hanging, lifting and lashing operations, whether used in single-leg lifts, multi-leg sling assemblies or asymmetric lifting scenarios. Comprehensive load tables define the permitted working load limits for each lifting configuration, ensuring safe operation across a wide range of applications.
Each lifting point is supplied individually packaged, complete with a user manual and detailed welding instructions. Welding must be carried out strictly in accordance with the supplied instructions, and only by a qualified welding operator certified to EN ISO 9606-1, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and long-term structural integrity.
Every Pewag PLE/N Eta lifting point features an individual serial number, enabling full traceability and documentation throughout its service life. With working load limits ranging from 1.12 tonnes up to 15 tonnes, the PLE/N Eta range covers a wide variety of lifting requirements across manufacturing, fabrication, transport and heavy engineering sectors.
Safety & User Instructions
Welding must only be carried out by qualified personnel certified to EN ISO 9606-1.
Follow all welding instructions supplied with the product.
Ensure the lifting point is welded onto a suitable load-bearing structure.
Always observe the permitted directions of pull and inclination angles.
Do not allow the lifting ring to rest against edges or the load.
Avoid obstructed or uncontrolled load directions.
Never exceed the stated working load limits for the lifting configuration.
Inspect regularly for signs of wear, deformation or weld damage.
