Description

The Pewag winner profilift Lifting Eyebolt PLGWI Gamma Inox – 2 Tonne is a premium stainless steel lifting point engineered for applications where corrosion resistance, hygiene and long-term durability are essential. Manufactured to the latest international standards, this INOX lifting eyebolt combines the proven Pewag Gamma design with robust stainless steel construction, making it ideal for demanding industrial and regulated environments.

This version is supplied exclusively as the 2-tonne model with M20 metric thread, offering a dependable solution for medium-duty lifting applications where strength and environmental resistance are critical. The lifting eye features a fully 360° rotatable design, allowing it to automatically align with the direction of pull. This reduces the risk of side loading, minimises thread stress and enhances overall lifting safety, particularly in angled or multi-leg lifting scenarios.

Each PLGWI Gamma Inox lifting eyebolt is fitted with an interchangeable special screw that is 100% crack-tested, ensuring maximum material integrity and reliability under load. The lifting eye is clearly marked with the working load limit and thread size, enabling fast identification during installation, inspection and routine maintenance. Unlike coated carbon steel alternatives, the INOX construction provides inherent corrosion resistance without surface treatments, making it highly suitable for food processing, pharmaceutical, chemical, marine and outdoor environments.

In permitted directions of pull, the PLGWI Gamma Inox 2T is engineered to withstand a four-fold safety factor against break in all directions, delivering a high margin of safety even under challenging lifting conditions. Comprehensive load capacity tables support safe use across different lifting methods, angles of inclination and numbers of sling legs.

Traceability and inspection compliance are integral to the design. Each lifting eyebolt is individually serial numbered, simplifying asset tracking, inspection records and compliance with LOLER and other lifting regulations. Batch identification on load-bearing components further supports full product traceability throughout its service life.

The PLGWI Gamma Inox 2T is the ideal lifting solution where cleanliness, resistance to moisture or chemicals, and minimal maintenance are required. Whether used in cleanrooms, offshore facilities, washdown zones or corrosive industrial environments, this stainless steel lifting eyebolt delivers reliable, long-term performance with uncompromising safety.

Safety & User Instructions
Always align the lifting eyebolt in the permitted direction of pull before loading.
Refer to the Pewag load capacity tables for approved lifting configurations and angles.
Do not use if the direction of pull is obstructed or outside the permitted range.
Ensure the lifting eye does not rest against sharp edges or directly against the load.
Never exceed the stated 2T Working Load Limit (WLL).
Inspect the lifting eyebolt regularly for wear, deformation or corrosion.
Remove from service immediately if any damage is detected.
Always follow the instructions in the official Pewag operating manual.
