Description
The RUD VRS & VRS-F StarPoint UNC lifting points offer one of the most versatile and safety-focused lifting solutions on the market. Designed for demanding lifting, turning, and load-orientation tasks, each unit features a fully rotatable 360� ring that achieves a significantly higher Working Load Limit (WLL) than standard DIN 580 eye bolts. The result is a dependable lifting point suitable for heavy-duty industrial use, machining centres, fabrication, tooling, construction and transport applications.
Both variations share the same core performance advantages but differ only in their handling method. The VRS version is supplied without a key, designed for fast installation using standard tools, ideal for workshops that prefer streamlined, tool-only operation. The VRS-F version includes a star-profile key, allowing quick and user-friendly installation and removal, especially useful in environments where lifting points are repositioned frequently.
Every size in the series is engineered with the RUD ICE-bolt, a patented high-toughness steel fastener that is permanently fixed (non-detachable) to the body. This prevents the accidental use of incorrect or inferior bolts and ensures certified load integrity. The ICE-bolt also provides exceptional resistance in cold-temperature environments and enhanced bending strength, extending the lifespan and structural safety of the lifting point.
All WLL values displayed in this UNC range represent the minimum guaranteed load capacity, even in the �worst-case� loading direction, giving exceptional clarity and safety margins across the entire working envelope. With sizes available from 1/4″-20UNC to 2″-4.5UNC and tightening torques up to 1,400 Nm, this series covers everything from light tooling to heavy mechanical lifting.
