The RUD W-ABA Weld-On Lifting Point is engineered for professional lifting operations where durability, flexibility, and long-term reliability are essential. Designed as a permanent weld-on lifting eye, the W-ABA can be loaded from any direction, allowing safe use in complex rigging situations where multi-directional forces occur.
A key advantage of the W-ABA is its single-piece forged construction. Unlike multi-part lifting points, this design eliminates rattling, vibration, and loose components, even when subjected to strong dynamic forces. This makes the W-ABA particularly suitable for machinery, transport frames, steel structures, and outdoor installations where vibration and movement are common.
The lifting point offers a large Working Load Limit range from 0.8 t to 31.5 t, with increased WLL ratings possible when the load is applied within the load ring plane. Clear, forged markings on the body indicate the minimum WLL and the permitted load angles, ensuring correct and safe use during lifting operations.
For permanent installations, the W-ABA features a circular fillet weld design that fulfils the requirements of DIN EN 1090.
