The RUD PSA-VRS-STARPOINT Metric is a professionally engineered anchorage point developed to protect personnel working at height. Designed as part of RUD?s personal safety range, this anchorage device provides a secure, clearly identifiable attachment point for fall arrest, work positioning, and restraint systems in industrial environments.
The PSA-VRS-STARPOINT features a 360? rotatable ring, allowing the connected PPE to align naturally in any direction of movement. This rotation significantly reduces twisting forces on lanyards and connectors, improving user comfort while enhancing overall system safety during normal operation or in the event of a fall.
A non-removable special bolt ensures permanent, tamper-resistant installation, preventing accidental removal or incorrect refitting. The distinctive penta-shaped design further enhances safety by allowing installation only with dedicated tools, reducing misuse and unauthorised interference.
Designed for a Working Load Limit of 1 to 2 persons, the permitted number of users is clearly marked on the anchorage point for immediate on-site verification. The PSA-VRS-STARPOINT is available in metric thread sizes M12, M16, and M20, including variable-length versions, providing flexibility for different mounting thicknesses and installation requirements.
The PSA-VRS-STARPOINT Metric complies with EC Directive 89/686/EEC, exceeds the requirements of DIN EN 795, and features marking in accordance with DIN EN 365 for inspection and traceability. Each unit is tested and certified by the PPE special division of DGUV, ensuring suitability for safety-critical applications.
DGUV approval also covers installation into steel structures and the use of blind rivet nuts, making the PSA-VRS-STARPOINT suitable for both new installations and retrofitting existing structures.
