Description

The Pewag G6+ Stainless Steel Single Leg Pump Lifting Chain is a specialist lifting assembly designed specifically for safe vertical lifting of pumps and submersible equipment in corrosive, wet and hygienic environments. Manufactured from AISI 316 marine grade stainless steel, this chain assembly offers excellent resistance to corrosion, chemicals and contamination.

Each pump lifting chain is fully welded using advanced butt resistance or flash butt welding techniques, achieving 100% full penetration welds throughout the assembly. This eliminates hollow spaces or cracks where water, chemicals or residue could accumulate, making the chain ideal for water, wastewater, chemical and oil industry applications.

The welded stainless steel system provides a clean, smooth surface finish, ensuring persistent and profound pollution is minimised and allowing the chain to be easily cleaned and maintained. This makes it particularly suitable for installations where hygiene, reliability and long service life are essential.

Pewag G6+ pump lifting chains are supplied with an AWI oval stainless steel master link at each end, as well as additional master links every metre along the length of the chain. This design improves handling, positioning and attachment during pump installation and removal.

Each assembly is proof load tested by the manufacturer to 2 × the Working Load Limit (WLL) and is fully traceable. Every chain and component is batch numbered and grade marked, with a stainless steel identification tag displaying the unique serial number, WLL, manufacturers mark and sling grade.

Standard assemblies are supplied as single leg vertical lifting chains, with effective working length manufactured to order. Special configurations can be supplied on request.
