Description
The Yale PAY Mini Hydraulic Pump is a compact, rugged and highly versatile air-powered hydraulic pump designed for professional industrial applications requiring up to 700 bar operating pressure. Driven entirely by compressed air, the PAY series offers a safe, economical and explosion-proof alternative to electric or manual pumps, making it ideal for use in hazardous or sensitive environments.
These mini pumps can be connected to any standard compressed air supply and are suitable for operating single-acting or double-acting hydraulic cylinders, depending on the model selected. Despite their compact size, PAY pumps feature large hydraulic oil reservoirs, allowing them to power large cylinders or multiple cylinders without frequent refilling.
Hydraulic pressure is infinitely adjustable via the regulator on the air filter-lubricator unit, giving the operator precise control over force and movement. The air-driven motor ensures 100% explosion protection, making the PAY series particularly suitable for petrochemical plants, offshore environments, maintenance areas and workshops where electrical equipment is restricted.
Models designed for double-acting cylinders are equipped with an integrated 4-way directional control valve (VHH-4/3). Cylinder movement is controlled using a universal pedal, which can be operated by hand or foot, leaving the operator free to focus on positioning and safety. The control logic is intuitive and precise:
Neutral position ? motor stopped, cylinder stationary, pressure held
Pedal depressed ? motor runs, cylinder advances, pressure builds
Pedal pushed forward ? motor stops, pressure is released, cylinder retracts
The PAY pump?s compact footprint and relatively low weight make it easy to integrate into mobile service setups or confined workspaces. For optimal service life and performance, the use of an inline air filter-lubricator is recommended.
Typical applications include maintenance and repair work, lifting and clamping operations, tooling, assembly processes and any hydraulic task where compressed air is available and electrical power is undesirable.
Typical Applications
