Description
Yale HPH Hand Pumps are purpose-built manual hydraulic pumps designed specifically for double-acting hydraulic cylinders, where controlled extension and retraction are required. Rated for a maximum operating pressure of 700 bar, the HPH range delivers precise, reliable hydraulic power in industrial, construction and maintenance environments where electric or pneumatic power is unavailable or impractical.
Closely related to Yale?s proven HPS hand pumps, the HPH series is distinguished by an integrated 4/3-way directional control valve. This allows accurate control of both ports of a double-acting cylinder, enabling smooth extension, controlled retraction and secure neutral holding. A precision-adjustable pressure relief valve, operating independently of the directional valve, ensures consistent pressure limitation and protects the hydraulic system from overload.
All HPH hand pumps feature a two-stage pumping system to reduce effort and improve efficiency. Stage 1 delivers high oil volume for rapid piston movement under light or no load, while Stage 2 automatically engages under higher resistance to generate full pressure with minimal operator input. This design ensures efficient, controlled operation even when driving large-capacity double-acting cylinders.
Manufactured with robust all-steel construction, Yale HPH hand pumps are built for long service life in demanding environments. Large support feet provide excellent stability during operation, and the tilted oil reservoir maximises usable oil volume and maintains performance at varying working angles. An ergonomic handle grip helps reduce operator fatigue, while the compact design supports easy transport and positioning on site.
Yale HPH hand pumps are widely used for lifting, positioning, pressing, tensioning and alignment tasks in steel construction, bridge works, shipbuilding, plant maintenance and industrial assembly. Optional pressure gauges with matching adaptors are available for applications requiring accurate pressure monitoring and controlled load application.
