Description

The Yale CPA ATEX Pneumatic Chain Hoist Basic range is a robust series of ATEX-certified hoists designed for heavy-duty lifting in hazardous environments such as chemical plants, refineries, offshore facilities and industrial production. The CPA ATEX hoists deliver reliable, high-performance lifting from 2,000kg to 10,000kg capacity, with options for top hook suspension or integrated trolley operation.

Built for continuous use, these pneumatic chain hoists feature a 100% duty rating and unlimited starts, making them ideal for high-frequency lifting tasks. Their durable construction is resistant to contamination, humidity and aggressive mediums, making them particularly suited to harsh industrial conditions where electric hoists may be less reliable.

The CPA ATEX hoists operate on 4?6 bar working pressure, using a robust rotating piston motor paired with an adjustable spring pressure brake that securely holds loads even if air supply is interrupted. The standard oil-bath lubricated planetary gearbox ensures smooth running and a compact overall height, while high starting torque and a large silencer reduce noise and improve operational efficiency.

A key design feature is the 5-pocket load chain sheave made from wear-resistant case hardened steel, ensuring smooth chain motion and precise load control. Forged suspension and load hooks are made from high tensile steel with safety latches, and the standard zinc-plated link chain is matched to the load chain for optimal performance.

All models meet national and international standards and are available with optional accessories such as limit switches, rope control, chain containers, maintenance units and stainless steel load chain. Safety / User Instructions

Use a filtered and oiled compressed air supply for faultless operation.
