The Yale Yaletrac ST Cable Puller is a versatile and proven solution for controlled load movement where precision, safety and portability are essential. Designed for professional use across a wide range of industries, including civil engineering, building construction, power line installation, shipbuilding and oil refineries, the Yaletrac ST delivers dependable performance in challenging working environments.

Available in four pulling force ratings from 500 daN to 3200 daN, the Yaletrac ST enables efficient lifting, pulling, lowering, tensioning and securing of loads over extended distances. Its robust yet compact design makes it particularly suitable for mobile applications, site work and confined spaces where powered equipment may be impractical or unavailable.

The unit features pressed steel covers manufactured from dimensionally stable deep-drawn steel plates, providing a strong, impact-resistant housing while maintaining a compact overall size. Internal components are engineered for durability and smooth operation, with axial ball bearings significantly reducing hand operating forces and improving operator comfort during prolonged use.

A stable upright working position is achieved through the combination of the operating handle and integrated foot, allowing safe and controlled operation on uneven ground. The space-saving telescopic hand lever (except on the Y 05 ST) can be securely attached to the unit using a hook-and-pile fastener, improving portability and storage efficiency.

Overload protection is provided by a shear pin system, safeguarding both the operator and the equipment. Spare shear pins are conveniently stored within the carrying handle, and a broken pin can be replaced quickly without removing the load, minimising downtime on site.

The Yaletrac ST uses a specially designed flexible steel wire rope with six strands and a steel core, easily identified by an orange strand. The rope is tapered at one end for quick threading and fitted with an eye sling hook with safety latch at the other, ensuring fast and secure connection to loads or anchorage points.

The parallel clamping system distributes gripping forces evenly across the rope, reducing wear and extending service life. A long rope advance per lever stroke increases working speed, while rubber sleeves protect the internal mechanism from dirt and dust ingress. A dedicated lever allows the rope clamp system to be disengaged for smooth and effortless rope installation.

Maintenance is minimal, with a large top opening allowing easy cleaning by flushing with water and applying light lubrication, keeping the unit ready for use even in harsh environments.
