The VRS-STARPOINT Metric is a high-performance vario ring bolt designed for safe, versatile and heavy-duty lifting. Avilable as the VRS (without installation key) and VRA-F (with star-profile key). Offering a WLL range from 0.1 t up to 20 t, this lifting point provides a substantial capacity upgrade compared to DIN 580 eye bolts, while its 360� rotation ensures perfect load alignment in any direction. Equipped with the patented RUD ICE-Bolt (M6�M24), the STARPOINT Metric delivers exceptional strength, superb cold-temperature performance and increased bending resistance. Its integrated star-profile key enables fast installation and removal, making it ideal for engineering, manufacturing, offshore and tooling applications where reliability and adaptability are critical.

The RUD VRS-STARPOINT Metric series provides advanced lifting solutions engineered for demanding professional environments. Available in two distinct variants, VRS and VRA-F, the range ensures exceptional load handling, improved safety and superior ease of use.
The VRS-STARPOINT (without key) is designed for operators who prefer a simplified, tool-based installation while still benefiting from the STARPOINT�s signature 360� rotational movement and optimised load alignment. This model offers a clean, minimal configuration with the full safety and durability expected from RUD lifting technology.
For applications requiring the quickest and most convenient installation, the VRA-F-STARPOINT (with star-profile key) provides effortless mounting and removal. The star-profile key is built directly into the lifting point head, allowing the operator to rotate and secure the bolt without additional tools, perfect for repetitive or high-frequency lifting tasks.
Both models incorporate the non-detachable RUD ICE-Bolt, produced from patented high-toughness steel to deliver outstanding performance in extreme environments. The ICE-Bolt (available in M6�M24) provides exceptional bending resistance, enhanced cold-temperature behaviour and significantly reduced wear, ensuring a long, reliable service life. Because the bolt is permanently integrated, the risk of using an incorrect or unsafe replacement bolt is eliminated.
Certified to DGUV GS-OA-15-04:2015-12, all STARPOINT Metric variants provide minimum WLL values across all load directions, making them a trustworthy solution even under challenging or unfavourable lifting angles. With a wide selection of bolt lengths suitable for threaded and through-hole applications, both the VRS and VRA-F versions offer the adaptability required in manufacturing, machinery moving, fabrication, offshore, tooling and structural lifting.
