Description
The Yale Work Positioning Lanyard is a high-quality work positioning device designed to support workers securely while carrying out tasks at height. Available in 2 metre and 4 metre lengths, it allows users to maintain a stable, supported working position with both hands free for safe and efficient work.
Designed specifically for work positioning rather than fall arrest, this lanyard supports the user in tension to help prevent loss of balance while working. It conforms to BS EN 358, the recognised European standard for work positioning and restraint equipment.
Each lanyard is supplied with an integrated shortener, allowing quick and accurate length adjustment to fine-tune body position, reduce fatigue and improve comfort. It is ideal for use on masts, towers, structural steel, sloped surfaces and building faades, where controlled positioning is required.
The Yale Work Positioning Lanyard should be selected following a suitable risk assessment and used only by trained, competent personnel. Where a risk of falling remains, a separate fall arrest system must also be used in line with the Work at Height Regulations 2005.
