Description
The Yale HTP / HTG ATEX Basic trolley range has been specifically engineered for use in potentially explosive atmospheres where conventional trolleys are not permitted. Certified to II 3G Ex h IIA T4 Gc and II 3D Ex h IIA T135øC Dc, these trolleys are suitable for gas and dust hazardous areas commonly found in chemical processing, energy production, manufacturing, offshore, and industrial maintenance environments.
Available as either a push trolley (HTP ATEX Basic) or a geared trolley (HTG ATEX Basic), the range allows users to select simple manual movement or precise controlled travel via hand chain, depending on application requirements. Capacities cover 500 kg to 5,000 kg as standard, with higher explosion-proof versions up to 20,000 kg available on request.
The trolleys are manufactured from high-quality steel components and feature precision-machined steel wheels mounted on pre-lubricated, encapsulated ball bearings. This ensures exceptionally smooth running, reduced rolling resistance, and reliable performance even under continuous industrial use. The wheel design supports beam inclines of up to 14% (DIN 1025 ? Part 1), making the trolleys suitable for straight beams and gentle curves.
Both push and geared versions are adjustable to suit a wide range of beam widths and profiles, including INP, IPE and IPB sections. Adjustment is straightforward and secure, ensuring correct centring of the hoist on the beam to prevent side drift. Optional locking devices are available to secure the trolley in a fixed parking position when not in use.
