Description
The WPP-S PowerPoint Star weldable universal connection is a highly versatile lifting point designed for applications where freedom of movement, load control and reliability are critical. Engineered with a double ball bearing system, the WPP-S allows smooth rotation, tilting and turning even when under load, significantly reducing torsional stress on lifting equipment.
With a Working Load Limit (WLL) range from 0.63 tonnes to 8 tonnes, the WPP-S is suitable for a wide range of industrial lifting tasks including steel fabrication, machinery handling, construction, offshore work and plant maintenance. The integrated hook-style universal connection allows direct attachment of ring suspensions, round slings, wire ropes and hook suspensions without the need for additional connecting components.
A major advantage of the WPP-S is its cardan joint design, which offers an extended pivoting range of approximately 230? and 360? continuous rotation. This dramatically reduces the risk of load kinking, uneven force distribution and accidental side loading, helping to extend the service life of both the lifting point and the lifting medium.
The connection can also be rotated parallel to the weld-on surface under rated WLL, allowing precise alignment during lifting operations. This makes the WPP-S ideal for complex lifts where load direction changes dynamically.
