The YaleLift 360 ATEX with Integrated Trolley is engineered specifically for lifting and traversing loads in potentially explosive atmospheres, where maximum safety, reliability and operational flexibility are essential. Based on the proven YaleLift 360 design, this ATEX Basic version integrates a manual push trolley (YLITP ATEX) or geared trolley (YLITG ATEX) directly into the hoist, creating a compact, low-headroom solution for beam-mounted applications.

Certified to ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU, the hoist is approved for use in:

This makes it suitable for industries such as chemical processing, oil & gas, energy production, waste handling, food processing and bulk materials, where explosive gases or dusts may be present.

A key advantage of the YaleLift 360 ATEX is its revolutionary 360ø rotating hand chain guide, which allows the operator to pull the hand chain from virtually any direction. This enables safe operation from outside the danger zone, even in confined spaces or awkward working positions, and allows horizontal pulling or tensioning where permitted. Combined with the integrated trolley, loads can be lifted and moved smoothly along the beam with minimal effort.

For applications with restricted headroom, all trolley hoists up to 3,000kg are supplied with a single chain fall, significantly reducing the minimum hook-to-hook dimension. This makes the unit ideal for low ceilings, plant rooms and compact production areas.

The integrated trolley features an almost stepless adjustment system using adjusting nuts, allowing fast and precise fitting to a wide range of beam flange widths. Two beam width ranges are available:

Range A (standard): 50?180 mm (covers approx. 80% of applications)

Range B (optional): up to 300 mm (or up to 310 mm on higher capacities)

The trolley wheels are designed for beam inclines up to 14% (DIN 1025 ? Part 1) and are fitted with pre-lubricated, encapsulated ball bearings for smooth, controlled travel. Anti-drop and anti-tilt devices are fitted as standard, providing additional safety during operation.

The hoist body is manufactured from robust stamped steel with an enclosed design that protects internal components from dust, dirt and harsh industrial conditions. All materials, surface treatments and components used in the ATEX version are selected to minimise ignition risks, including controlled friction, suitable coatings and defined temperature limits.

The brake system is extremely reliable and quiet, with corrosion-protected components designed for long service life. The hardened load sheave with precision-machined pockets ensures accurate chain guidance and smooth lifting motion, reducing wear on the load chain. The surface-treated alloy steel load chain complies with all relevant national and international standards and is optimally matched to the load sprocket.

Forged suspension and load hooks, made from high-tensile steel, are designed to yield under overload rather than break. Both hooks rotate 360ø and are fitted with robust safety latches for secure load attachment in hazardous environments.
