Description

The Crosby IPBUUZ / IPBUZ lifting clamp is a high-performance industrial tool designed specifically for handling Holland Bulb (HP) style profiles used in shipbuilding, heavy fabrication, and structural steel applications. These clamps enable operators to safely lift, transfer, and precisely place bulb profiles perpendicularly onto ship hulls or other structural components, ensuring efficiency and safety during critical operations.

Manufactured with a robust welded alloy steel body and reinforced with forged alloy components where required, the IPBUUZ / IPBUZ provides exceptional strength in a compact design. Both models are individually proof tested to twice their Working Load Limit (WLL), with certifications included for compliance and traceability. Each clamp features the Crosby IP logo, WLL, and jaw opening permanently stamped on the body, alongside a unique serial number and proof test date for easy identification.

The IPBUUZ model comes with a fixed hoisting eye, while the IPBUZ provides standard lifting eye configurations, giving operators flexibility depending on rigging requirements. These clamps are suitable for Holland Bulb profiles ranging from HP 120-200 up to HP 220-430, covering a wide variety of shipbuilding and heavy structural steel applications.

Engineered for reliable performance in extreme conditions, the clamps operate safely within a temperature range from -40 C to +100 C, making them ideal for both indoor fabrication shops and outdoor shipyard operations. Regular maintenance and repair kits are available to ensure long-term operational reliability. The clamps are designed with a minimum WLL of 10% of the maximum WLL, providing controlled handling for lighter loads while maintaining full safety compliance.

With their precision lifting capabilities, compact form factor, and high-quality construction, the IPBUUZ / IPBUZ clamps are an essential tool for any industrial operation handling Holland Bulb profiles, enhancing both productivity and operator safety.

Safety & User Instructions
Confirm Holland Bulb profile dimensions match the clamps jaw range before lifting.
Ensure the load is clean, free of oil, and debris to prevent slippage.
Use suitable lifting equipment rated for the clamps WLL.
Inspect clamps for wear, deformation, or damage prior to each use.
Engage clamp fully and verify correct positioning before lifting or transferring profiles.
Maintain full compliance with EN 13155 and ASME B30.20 lifting safety guidelines.
Store clamps in a dry, controlled environment when not in use to prolong service life.

Recommended Applications
