Description
The Crosby IPH10 Horizontal Plate Lifting Clamp is designed for the safe and efficient horizontal lifting and transfer of steel plates. Engineered for reliability and ease of use, the clamp incorporates a spring-loaded tension mechanism that ensures secure gripping during lifting operations.
The clamp body is manufactured from welded alloy steel, providing high strength while maintaining a compact design suitable for demanding industrial environments. Forged alloy components are incorporated where required, ensuring additional durability and long service life under heavy-duty conditions.
The IPH10 clamp is equipped with magnets and a positioning handle, allowing operators to easily place and align the clamp on the plate surface. The magnets help hold the clamp in position before tension is applied, improving both safety and efficiency during setup.
Every clamp undergoes individual proof testing to two times the working load limit, with certification supplied for full compliance and verification. For traceability and inspection purposes, the Crosby IP logo, working load limit (WLL), and jaw opening are permanently stamped on the clamp body.
Each unit is individually serialised, with the serial number and proof load test date stamped directly onto the clamp. A user manual and proof test certificate are included with every clamp supplied.
Maintenance and repair kits are available to ensure long-term operational reliability and allow safe servicing of the clamp when required.
The Crosby IPH10 clamp range offers working load limits from 0.5 tonnes up to 12 tonnes per pair, with multiple jaw openings to accommodate different plate thicknesses. The smallest capacity model (0.5t) is supplied without handle or magnets, while higher capacities include these positioning features as standard.
Designed in accordance with EN 13155 and ASME B30.20 design factors, the IPH10 horizontal plate clamp provides a dependable lifting solution for steel fabrication, construction, shipbuilding, and heavy manufacturing industries.
