The Crosby IPHGZ Horizontal Plate Lifting Clamp is designed for the safe horizontal lifting and transfer of steel plates and similar materials in industrial environments. Featuring a pretension gripping system, the clamp firmly secures the load before lifting begins, helping prevent movement or slippage during transport.

Manufactured from a high-strength welded alloy steel body with forged alloy components, the IPHGZ clamp provides durability, reliability, and a compact design suited to demanding lifting operations. This version features a fixed hoisting eye, offering a stable and straightforward connection point for lifting equipment.

A built-in handle allows operators to easily place and position the clamp on the material before lifting. Each clamp is individually proof tested to twice the Working Load Limit (WLL) and supplied with a test certificate and user manual.

For traceability and compliance, every unit is individually serialised and permanently stamped with the CrosbyIP name, logo, Working Load Limit, and jaw opening. Manufactured in an ISO 9001 certified facility, the IPHGZ clamp meets strict quality standards and is suitable for a wide range of plate handling applications.
