The Crosby G-2130OC Bolt Type Anchor Shackle is a forged, quenched, and tempered grade 6 lifting shackle designed for offshore and marine operations. Type-approved to DNV 2.7-1 for offshore container lifting, these shackles are hot-dip galvanized, fatigue rated, and individually proof-tested for sizes 85t and above. Ideal for certified lifting, rigging, and marine applications, each shackle bears the Red Pin®—a symbol of Crosby quality and reliability.

Description
The Crosby G-2130OC represents the offshore-certified version of the classic G-2130 shackle, engineered for precision, safety, and compliance in heavy-duty lifting. Forged from high-strength steel, quenched and tempered, the G-2130OC is grade 6 rated and designed to perform reliably in harsh marine and offshore environments.
Available in sizes from 3/8t to 150t, these shackles are hot-dip galvanized (or mechanically galvanized for smaller sizes) and feature Dimetcoted and painted red bolts for enhanced corrosion resistance and visibility. All shackles in the 3.25t–25t range are DNV 2.7-1 certified, statistical proof-tested, and impact tested to 42 Joules (31 ft-lb) at -20°C (-4°F). Larger sizes (85t and above) are individually proof-tested to 2x WLL to ensure maximum safety and traceability.
The G-2130OC is designed to exceed ASME B30.26 standards and meets the requirements of Federal Specification RR-C-271, Type IVA, Grade A, Class 3. Each shackle is permanently marked with Working Load Limit (WLL) and grade, providing clear identification for compliance and safety. The Red Pin® mark ensures genuine Crosby quality, giving confidence for lifting, rigging, marine, and offshore operations.
