The Yale YHP Cross-Bearing Hydraulic Puller Sets are purpose-designed hydraulic solutions for the safe, efficient removal of multi-segmented components such as ball bearings, roller bearings and similar assemblies. By applying controlled hydraulic force rather than impact or heat, these puller sets prevent damage to shafts, housings and surrounding components, significantly reducing repair time and machine downtime.

Available in 20 tonne, 30 tonne and 50 tonne capacities, YHP cross-bearing puller sets are ideal for heavy-duty industrial maintenance, overhaul and service operations. Each set includes dedicated bearing puller attachments and bearing cup pulling tools, enabling secure engagement behind bearings that cannot be removed with standard jaw pullers.

All mechanical components are manufactured from high-strength drop-forged steel, ensuring exceptional durability, precise fit and long service life even in demanding environments. Hydraulic force is delivered via a high-performance hollow hydraulic cylinder, allowing the pulling force to be applied concentrically through the shaft for maximum efficiency and safety.

Every YHP cross-bearing puller set is supplied fully assembled and ready for use, complete with a hydraulic hand pump, 2-metre high-pressure hydraulic hose with quick-connect coupler, and a pressure gauge. The pressure gauge allows the operator to continuously monitor the applied force, ensuring controlled operation and preventing overload.

Unlike mechanical or impact-based methods, hydraulic pulling ensures smooth, progressive force application, reducing the risk of sudden release or component damage. This makes the YHP cross-bearing range especially suitable for precision maintenance work in manufacturing plants, power generation, heavy industry, transport maintenance and engineering workshops.

Note: Cross-bearing puller sets have reduced maximum pulling forces compared to 3-grip puller sets due to the specialised bearing attachments.
