Description

The Crosby IPBC Horizontal Plate Clamp is a robust and reliable lifting clamp designed specifically for the horizontal transfer of steel plates and materials. Engineered for strength, durability, and safe material handling, the clamp incorporates a pretension gripping system that ensures secure engagement with the load during lifting operations.

Manufactured with a welded alloy steel body, the IPBC clamp provides exceptional strength while maintaining a compact and efficient design. Where additional strength is required, forged alloy steel components are used to enhance durability and long-term reliability in demanding industrial environments.

The clamp is equipped with an integrated handle, allowing operators to easily position the clamp onto the load before lifting. This improves handling efficiency and helps ensure correct placement during rigging operations.

Each clamp is individually proof tested to two times the working load limit and supplied with certification to confirm performance and compliance. For traceability and safety verification, the Crosby IP logo, working load limit, and jaw opening capacity are permanently stamped on the body.

To ensure full product traceability, every clamp is individually serialized, with the serial number and proof load test date stamped directly onto the clamp body. Each unit is supplied with a user manual and proof load test certificate, providing full documentation for inspection and compliance purposes.

The Crosby IPBC clamp is designed to operate across a wide range of industrial conditions, with a temperature operating range from -40C to +100C, making it suitable for both cold storage environments and high-temperature industrial settings.

Maintenance and repair kits are available to extend service life and maintain safe operating performance.

Available with working load limits from 1 tonne to 3 tonnes, the Crosby IPBC horizontal plate clamp provides a dependable solution for horizontal steel plate lifting and transfer applications across construction, steel fabrication, shipbuilding, and heavy manufacturing industries.
