The Crosby SS-125UNC Stainless Steel Swivel Hoist Rings are high-performance lifting points designed for applications requiring both exceptional corrosion resistance and dependable lifting capacity. Manufactured primarily from 316 stainless steel, these swivel hoist rings are ideal for use in marine environments, offshore installations, food processing facilities, and chemical plants where exposure to harsh conditions is common.

All primary components are produced from 316 stainless steel to maximise corrosion resistance and durability. The bolt retainers are manufactured from 15-7 PH (UNS S15700) magnetic stainless steel, providing additional strength and reliability while maintaining excellent resistance to environmental stress.

The SS-125UNC hoist ring is engineered to deliver 100% of its rated working load at a 90� lifting angle, allowing safe lifting even when the load direction changes. Its swivel and pivoting design enables the ring to rotate and align automatically with the load direction, helping to minimise side loading and improve lifting safety compared with traditional fixed lifting points.

Each hoist ring is individually proof tested to twice the working load limit (2� WLL) and supplied with certification, ensuring that every unit meets Crosby�s rigorous quality and safety standards. The units are also fatigue rated for 20,000 cycles at 1.5 times the working load limit, making them well suited to repetitive lifting operations in industrial environments.

For complete traceability and safety assurance, every hoist ring includes a Product Identification Code (PIC) and is permanently stamped with the working load limit and the Crosby name or �CG�. The supplied washer is colour-coded red to clearly identify models designed for UNC threaded bolts.

Each unit is supplied with a 316 stainless steel socket head cap screw manufactured to ASTM F837 Group 1 (316), ensuring strong, reliable fastening to equipment, machinery, or structural lifting points.

The SS-125UNC range is available in a wide variety of UNC bolt sizes, from 5/16″ through to 3-1/2″, providing working load limits from 0.18 tonnes up to 22.68 tonnes. With a 5:1 design factor, these swivel hoist rings provide a highly reliable lifting solution for critical industrial operations where safety and durability are essential.

Ensure the mounting surface is flat, clean, and capable of supporting the load.
Tighten the supplied bolt to the correct torque specification before lifting.
Confirm the hoist ring can freely swivel and align with the load direction.
Never exceed the specified working load limit (WLL).

Ensure adequate thread engagement when installing the bolt.
Replace any component showing damage or excessive wear.
