Description
The Pewag Grade 10 Single Leg Chain Sling is a high-performance lifting solution designed for straight, vertical lifting applications where simplicity, strength and reliability are critical. Manufactured using Pewags premium Grade 10 lifting chain, this sling meets the requirements of EN 818-2 and EN 818-4, while offering a 25% higher working load limit compared to Grade 8.
Thanks to the increased strength of Grade 10 steel (minimum breaking stress of 1,000 N/mm²), a Pewag G10 single leg sling can often be specified one chain size smaller than Grade 8, resulting in a lighter sling that is easier to handle and faster to rig. This improves ergonomics while maintaining excellent safety margins with a 4:1 safety factor.
Each sling is supplied with high-visibility orange powder-coated chain for fast visual identification on site and fitted with a distinctive oval Pewag ID tag, clearly displaying all essential technical data including chain size, grade, working load limit and traceability code.
Pewag Grade 10 single leg slings can be configured online with a choice of sling hooks with latch, self-locking safety hooks or C hooks, with or without shortening grab hooks. Slings are manufactured to the exact effective length specified, ensuring a precise fit for the intended lifting application.
All Pewag Grade 10 chain slings are supplied complete with a Declaration of Conformity and safe use instructions, ensuring compliance with LOLER regulations and recognised lifting standards.
