The Crosby G-2150 Bolt Type Chain Shackle is precision-engineered for heavy-duty lifting and rigging applications where safety, strength, and compliance are essential. Manufactured from forged, quenched, and tempered alloy steel, each shackle is permanently marked with its Working Load Limit (WLL) and Grade 6 classification, ensuring complete traceability and conformity with industry standards.

Available in sizes from 1/4 inch to 3 inches (0.5 to 85 metric tons WLL), the G-2150 features a hot-dip galvanized finish for superior corrosion protection in marine and offshore environments. Smaller sizes (3/8” and below) are mechanically galvanized for consistent coating performance.

The G-2150 is fatigue rated to 20,000 cycles at 1.5× WLL (0.5t–55t) and is approved for use across a wide temperature range from -40°F (-40°C) to 400°F (204°C). The 85-ton capacity model is supplied with hot-dip galvanized bows and Dimetcoted® bolts painted red for added protection and identification.

Each shackle meets or exceeds ASME B30.26 and Federal Specification RR-C-271 Type IVB, Grade A, Class 3, and is 6:1 design factor rated, with a maximum proof load of 2× WLL.
Sizes ½–25t meet the EN13889:2003 standard, and proof testing with certification to ABS, DNV, Lloyds, or other authorities is available upon request.

Optionally, all Crosby 2150 shackles can meet Charpy impact requirements of 31 ft-lb (42 Joules) at -4°F (-20°C), ensuring performance in extreme environments. The Red Pin® signifies genuine Crosby quality, trusted globally for marine, industrial, and offshore lifting.
