The Green Pin® Catch Bow Shackle with Safety Nut and Bolt Pin (GPCSAB) is a premium Grade 6 high tensile steel shackle, designed for secure, heavy-duty lifting applications. Featuring a hot-dip galvanised finish for superior corrosion resistance, it ensures long service life in demanding environments.
Compliant with BS EN 13889, US Fed. Spec. RR-C-271 Type IVA Class 2 Grade A, and ASME B30.26 (from 2t upward), each shackle offers a minimum breaking load of 6 × W.L.L.. The GPCSAB delivers proven reliability across a wide temperature range from –40°C to +200°C, making it ideal for offshore, marine, and industrial lifting.

Description
The Green Pin® Catch Bow Shackle with Safety Nut and Bolt Pin (GPCSAB) is engineered for maximum performance and safety in the most challenging lifting operations. Built from Grade 6 quenched and tempered high tensile steel, the GPCSAB combines superior strength, ductility, and fatigue resistance with the added security of a safety nut and bolt-type pin assembly.
Its catch-style head allows for easier handling and pin guidance during assembly, while the hot-dip galvanised coating provides lasting protection in marine and offshore environments.
Each shackle conforms to BS EN 13889 (0.5 – 25 t) and meets US Fed. Spec. RR-C-271 Type IVA Class 2 Grade A requirements. Sizes 2 t and above also comply with ASME B30.26, ensuring international acceptance for critical lifting applications.
With a minimum breaking load of six times the working load limit (6 × W.L.L.), and an operational temperature range of –40°C to +200°C, the GPCSAB delivers dependable performance even in extreme conditions.
Each shackle is individually marked with CE, W.L.L., manufacturer ID, and traceability code, with full documentation available: 2.1, 3.1, MTC, DoC, and DNV GL 2.7-1.
