The Green Pin® Standard Dee Shackle with Safety Nut and Bolt Pin (GPSAD) delivers maximum safety, strength, and corrosion resistance for professional lifting and rigging applications.

Manufactured from Grade 6 high-tensile steel, the body and pin are quenched and tempered for superior load-bearing capacity and long service life. The hot-dip galvanised finish provides outstanding corrosion protection, making these shackles ideal for offshore, marine, and construction use.

Each shackle is equipped with a safety nut, bolt, and split pin assembly to ensure the connection remains secure under vibration, shock loads, or long-term use — reducing the risk of accidental pin rotation.

The GPSAD conforms to BS EN 13889 and US Fed. Spec. RR-C-271 Type IVA, Class 2, Grade A, and complies with ASME B30.26 from 2 tonnes (WLL) and above. Shackles with a WLL ≥ 2 tonnes are also DNV 2.7-1 type approved, making them suitable for offshore container and critical lifting operations.

With a Minimum Breaking Load (MBL) equal to 6× the Working Load Limit (WLL) and an operating temperature range from –40 °C to +200 °C, the GPSAD series ensures consistent safety and reliability across all load conditions.
