Description

The Crosby G-209 Screw Pin Anchor Shackle offers a proven, high-integrity solution for lifting, rigging, towing, and anchoring operations across industrial, construction, and marine sectors.

Manufactured from Grade 6 carbon steel and fitted with a forged alloy steel screw pin, each G-209 is quenched and tempered for enhanced strength and fatigue performance. The shackles are mechanically galvanised (≤ 3/8 in.) or hot-dip galvanised (≥ 7/16 in.) for excellent corrosion resistance in demanding environments.

The screw pin design allows quick and secure attachment, ideal for applications requiring frequent connection or disconnection. Every shackle is fatigue rated, proof tested to 2 × WLL, and achieves a minimum ultimate strength of 6 × WLL.

Crosby G-209 shackles comply with ASME B30.26, Federal Spec RR-C-271G Type IVA, Grade A, Class 2, and ABS Type Approval standards. Each unit is traceable, CE-marked, and can be supplied with ABS, DNV, or Lloyd’s certificates upon request.

Designed for use in extreme conditions, the G-209 operates from –40 °C to +204 °C, with optional Charpy impact certification (42 J at –20 °C) available for specialist offshore or low-temperature use.
