Description
The Donati GBR “Column” Series is a high-performance range of electrically rotated jib cranes engineered for continuous industrial operation. This jib crane Offers full 360° rotation, the system uses a robust motoreducer and heavy-duty thrust-bearing assembly to manage axial forces, radial loads and tilting moments generated during lifting.
Suitable for loads from 1,000 kg to 10,000 kg and jib lengths from 4 m to 10.5 m, the Donati GBR cranes are ideal for applications such as outdoor depots, harbours, loading ramps, vehicle handling areas, marine installations and large industrial facilities.
The column is constructed using press-forged welded steel with an octagonal section to ensure outstanding stability. The rotating arm—manufactured in either a rolled I-beam or a fully welded box beam—provides maximum flexural and torsional rigidity for smooth load movement under demanding conditions.
Donati integrates a comprehensive electrical supply system with low-voltage control circuits, dual or single control panel options, high-quality contactors, a festoon cable system and a durable pendant control station. Electrical limit switches can restrict rotation where required, or a collector ring can be fitted to allow unrestricted, continuous rotation.
