Description

The Crosby IPH10J Horizontal Plate Lifting Clamp is specifically designed for the horizontal lifting and transfer of thicker steel plates, featuring a larger jaw opening than the standard IPH10 model. This makes it ideal for handling heavier and thicker materials in demanding industrial lifting applications.

Constructed with a welded alloy steel body, the clamp offers exceptional strength while maintaining a compact and efficient design. Where additional strength is required, forged alloy components are incorporated to enhance durability and ensure long-term performance under heavy loads.

The IPH10J clamp features a spring-loaded tension gripping system, which maintains constant pressure on the plate during lifting operations. This helps ensure secure load engagement and reliable grip throughout the lift.

For improved usability and safe placement, the clamp includes integrated magnets and a positioning handle. The magnets help hold the clamp in position on the plate before lifting, while the handle allows operators to easily guide and position the clamp during setup.

Each clamp is individually proof tested to two times the working load limit, with certification supplied to verify compliance and performance. For identification and inspection purposes, the Crosby IP logo, working load limit, and jaw opening capacity are permanently stamped on the clamp body.

To ensure full product traceability, every clamp is individually serialised, with the serial number and proof load test date stamped directly on the body. Each unit is supplied with a user manual and proof load test certificate, ensuring full documentation for inspection and safety compliance.

Maintenance and repair kits are available to support ongoing servicing and extend the operational life of the clamp.

The Crosby IPH10J clamp range provides working load limits from 3 tonnes up to 12 tonnes per pair, with a large jaw opening range of 60120 mm, making it particularly suitable for lifting thicker steel plates used in heavy fabrication and industrial applications.

Designed in accordance with EN 13155 and ASME B30.20 design factors, the IPH10J horizontal plate clamp provides a safe, reliable solution for heavy-duty plate handling.

Safety & User Instructions
Always verify the working load limit (WLL) before lifting.
