The Thern Ensign 1000 Series Portable Lifting Davit Crane (5PA10) is engineered to provide higher lifting capacity and increased hook height for applications where loads must be lifted over tall obstacles such as safety gates, guard rails, tanks, and equipment housings. With a maximum working load limit (WLL) of up to 544 kg, the Ensign 1000 offers a robust yet portable lifting solution for industrial and maintenance environments.

Designed with a longer mast and boom, the crane provides a maximum hook height of up to 2565 mm when used with a pedestal base, allowing operators to lift heavier loads while maintaining excellent reach and clearance. The crane can lift, lower, and rotate loads smoothly through a full 360� range, enabling precise positioning of equipment during maintenance or installation tasks.

Unlike smaller davit crane systems, the Ensign 1000 includes roller-ball bearings and a rotation lock system as standard, providing improved rotation under load and allowing the crane to be securely positioned during unloading or load placement. This feature enhances operator control and safety when handling heavier equipment.

Ease of operation is central to the design. The crane features an ergonomic boom adjustment system, multiple winch options, and a quick-disconnect wire rope feature that allows the crane to be moved between work areas while the rope remains connected to the load.
