Description
The MezzBarriers C42 42.4 mm Side Mounted Handrail Kits are designed for mezzanine floors, platforms, and elevated walkways where handrails must be fixed to the side of the structure rather than the deck surface. Fully compliant with BS EN ISO 14122-3:2016, these systems provide effective edge protection while maximising usable floor space.
Each kit consists of ready-made modular components, sold separately, allowing handrail layouts to be configured precisely to suit site requirements. Pre-assembled uprights, combined with ready-cut rails and kick plates, enable fast installation using semi-skilled labour and basic hand tools.
There is no need to weld, bend, or fabricate tubing on site, significantly reducing installation time and operational disruption. Standard configurations can be achieved using off-the-shelf components, while bespoke solutions are available for machine guarding, staircases, ramps, and complex mezzanine layouts.
