The MezzBarriers D48 48.3 mm Deck Mounted Handrail Kits are engineered for level mezzanine decks, platforms, and loading docks where increased strength and durability are required. Fully compliant with BS EN ISO 14122-3:2016, these kits provide reliable edge protection in demanding industrial environments.
Each system is made up of ready-made modular components, sold separately, allowing handrails to be configured precisely to suit site layouts. The use of pre-assembled uprights, pre-cut rails, and integrated kick plates enables rapid installation using semi-skilled labour and basic hand tools.
There is no need to weld, bend, or fabricate tubing on site, significantly reducing installation time and disruption to operations. Most standard guardrail layouts can be achieved using off-the-shelf components, while bespoke configurations are available for machine guarding, staircases, ramps, or complex platform layouts.
