Description

The Mezzbarriers Self-Closing Retro-Fit Safety Gate is engineered to provide reliable fall protection in any environment where a consistent, automatic closing mechanism is required. Manufactured using hot-dip galvanised steel for long-lasting corrosion resistance, this safety gate is ideal for rooftop work areas, plant access points and industrial walkways exposed to harsh weather or frequent use.
The gate arrives assembled and can be quickly fixed using either U-bolt clamps or bolt-on hinge brackets, making it an ideal upgrade for older or non-compliant barrier systems. The clever modular tube-clamp design allows the gate width to be trimmed on site, ensuring a perfect fit for gaps up to 1 metre wide.
Unlike chains or manual-bar gates, the stainless-steel spring automatically swings the gate shut after each use, maintaining continuous compliance and reducing accidents caused by gates being left open.

Installation
– Supplied with U-bolt tube clamps for fitting to 33.7mm, 42.4mm, or 48.3mm posts
– Drill-and-bolt hinge version available
– Can be installed left-hand or right-hand
– Width adjustment performed easily with a hex key and steel cutting saw
