Description

The Camlok® CH Horizontal Plate Clamps are engineered for the horizontal lifting and transportation of steel plates and plate bundles, making them an essential tool for fabrication shops, steel stockholders, processing facilities, and construction applications. Designed to be used in pairs with a two-legged chain sling, the CH clamps provide stable, balanced lifting performance across a wide range of capacities.

The CH1 model is fitted with a single jaw, available as standard in smooth configuration for handling delicate or finished materials. For applications requiring additional grip, the smooth jaws can be replaced with serrated, hardened steel teeth, suitable for materials up to 300 Brinell (32 HRc).

CH clamps are ideal for lifting:
– Single steel plates
– Bundles of plates (same width, square edges)
– Material thicker than 10% of the clamp’s maximum jaw capacity

Their robust construction and 4:1 design factor ensure dependable and long-term performance in demanding industrial environments. Side loading is not permitted, and the clamps must always be used as a paired system.

Available capacities (per pair): 1000–20000 kg, providing solutions for both light and heavy-duty horizontal lifting tasks.
