The Donati DRH Electric Wire Rope Hoist with Suspended Trolley delivers a powerful, flexible, and safe lifting solution for industrial applications requiring smooth horizontal movement along a beam. Designed for use on single-girder runways, this configuration combines Donati’s proven DRH hoist unit with a motorised trolley, offering precise control and exceptional reliability for loads up to 20,000 kg.

This trolley-suspended variant retains all the core mechanical and electrical characteristics of the fixed DRH execution, while adding a robust travel system that enables the hoist to move along the beam for improved coverage and versatility. The hoist is suspended beneath the beam via hinge-pin support bars, ensuring smooth travel and stable lifting performance, even under heavy loads.

Two trolley configurations are available:

Normal Trolley – for straight beams and general industrial applications.

Articulated Trolley – designed for curved beams, enabling movement through radiused tracks often found in complex production layouts.

Outstanding Engineering and Performance

The trolley design features supporting bars with circular cross-sections, mounted via hinge-pin suspension, ensuring balanced weight distribution and smooth motion. Each trolley is composed of an idler wheel assembly and a drive wheel assembly, both equipped with two precision-machined steel wheels mounted on spherical, permanently lubricated bearings.

The drive wheel assembly is engineered for durability, featuring opposed wheels connected via a crown gear transmission bar, offering steady, vibration-free travel.

The trolley motor is a conical, self-braking design with progressive start-up, providing controlled acceleration and deceleration for safe, precise load positioning.

Trolley Travel Speeds

Available in single- or dual-speed versions to suit operational requirements:

Single Speed: 8 m/min, 10 m/min, 16 m/min, or 20 m/min

Dual Speed: 16/4 m/min or 20/5 m/min

The trolley gearbox uses helically cut gears, permanently lubricated in an oil bath, ensuring quiet operation, low wear, and long service life.
