The Donati DRH Double Girder Electric Wire Rope Hoist is designed for heavy-duty industrial lifting applications, offering exceptional performance, strength, and operational safety.
This configuration is mounted on a powered double girder trolley, providing maximum hook run and smooth, stable movement across two crane beams.

Built to meet the most demanding material-handling needs, the double girder execution allows lifting capacities up to 50,000 kg, making it ideal for use in factories, production halls, shipyards, and other industrial facilities where precision, safety, and durability are essential.

The Donati DRH hoist itself shares the same high-quality mechanical and electrical characteristics as the fixed execution, with self-braking conical motors, precision-machined components, and IP-rated electrical protection, ensuring long-term reliability and consistent performance under load.

Maximum Hook Run and Heavy-Duty Performance

The double girder trolley design ensures maximum hook height and run, as the trolley travels along the top of rails fitted to the crane beams, rather than below them.
This arrangement enables the hoist to achieve the highest possible lifting path, making it perfect for installations where every millimetre of headroom counts.

The hoist can be fitted longitudinally, suspended, or in transversal position relative to the crane beams, providing flexibility for different structural layouts and load handling requirements.

Capacities and Configurations

Up to 20,000 kg – for hoists with 2 or 4 rope falls and trolley spans of 1000 mm or 1200 mm

Up to 50,000 kg – for hoists with 6 (32 t) or 8 (40 t) rope falls and trolley spans of 1400 mm, 2240 mm, or 2800 mm

The steel trolley frame is robust and precisely engineered, equipped with two driven wheels and two idler wheels made from carbon steel, pressed and mounted on permanently lubricated bearings.
Each trolley includes an anti-derailment device for additional safety and reliability during movement.

Powered Travel System

The trolley motor is a conical self-braking type with progressive start-up, ensuring smooth acceleration, deceleration, and precise travel control under load.
This provides steady and accurate positioning — vital for the safe handling of heavy components.

Travel Speed Options

Single Speed: 8 m/min, 10 m/min, 16 m/min, or 20 m/min

Dual Speed: 16/4 m/min or 20/5 m/min

The gear reducer is constructed with helically-cut gears, permanently lubricated in an oil bath for quiet, low-maintenance operation.
Optional electric travel limit switches can be fitted on request.
