Description
The Pewag KWB Grade 8 Four Leg Ready-Made Chain Sling is designed for maximum stability and control when lifting large, heavy or awkward loads with multiple attachment points. Manufactured from Super Alloy Grade 80 steel and assembled in accordance with EN 818-4, this chain sling delivers exceptional strength, durability and reliability in demanding industrial lifting environments.
Four leg chain slings are commonly used where a high degree of load control is required, particularly for complex lifts involving large fabricated structures or machinery. When correctly rigged, the four leg configuration helps distribute the load evenly, reducing stress on individual lifting points and improving overall lifting safety.
The Pewag KWB system is available in chain sizes from 6mm to 13mm, offering impressive working load limits while maintaining a 4:1 safety factor. A range of sling termination options, including latch hooks, C hooks and self-locking safety hooks, allows the sling to be tailored to specific lifting applications and site safety requirements.
Optional shortening grab hooks can be fitted to each leg, enabling precise adjustment of the effective working length (reach). This feature is particularly valuable when lifting uneven loads, as it allows accurate levelling without the need for additional rigging equipment.
Each Pewag KWB four leg chain sling is supplied complete with a Declaration of Conformity and comprehensive safe use instructions, ensuring compliance with LOLER regulations and recognised lifting best practices.
