The MezzBarriers Warehouse Rack End Barrier provides robust, highly visible protection for exposed pallet racking ends, machinery, and structural assets within busy warehouse and industrial facilities. Specifically engineered to reduce accidental impact damage caused by forklifts, pallet trucks, and other mechanical handling equipment, this racking protection system helps minimise repair costs, reduce downtime, and improve overall workplace safety.
As part of the MezzBarriers warehouse barriers range, the rack end barrier is manufactured using 48.3 mm outside diameter heavy-wall steel tube, delivering exceptional strength and durability in high-traffic environments. The steel tube is finished with a hard-wearing thermoplastic coating (PPA 571 ES) in RAL 1021 Alert Safety Yellow, providing superior impact resistance and maximum visibility compared to painted alternatives.
With external dimensions of 750 mm high × 750 mm wide, the MezzBarriers Rack End Barrier creates a defined protective zone at the end of pallet racking runs. Its freestanding guard structure absorbs low-speed vehicle impacts and deflects traffic away from vulnerable racking uprights, helping to prevent rack collapse, load damage, and secondary safety hazards.
Installation is fast, simple, and cost-effective. The MezzBarriers Warehouse Rack End Barrier requires no welding, drilling, or on-site fabrication. All components are assembled using an Allen key, allowing installation by semi-skilled labour and making it ideal for both new installations and retrofit safety upgrades following risk assessments or operational changes.
The system is fully compliant with BS EN 15512:2009 – Steel Static Storage Systems, ensuring suitability for use in environments where pallet racking and warehouse handling equipment are present. All fittings are hot-dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 and ASTM A53, delivering excellent corrosion resistance and long service life.
