The Mezz Barrier Hi-Gate Universal Safety Pallet Gate – Custom Built is a robust, open-top safety gate designed to allow unlimited load height, making it perfect for mezzanines, hoist openings, scaffold platforms, and other elevated areas. Custom-built to your required inside width (up to 2,000 mm) and depth (up to 4,000 mm), the Hi-Gate ensures continuous fall protection while accommodating forklift or hoist loading. Its scissor-action gate design, anti-slam damper, and optional asymmetric edge gate provide safe, smooth, and compact operation in tight spaces. Available in galvanised or Safety Yellow thermoplastic finishes.

The Mezz Barrier Hi-Gate Universal Safety Pallet Gate, Custom Built is a versatile safety solution for elevated loading areas, offering unlimited load height thanks to its open-top design. The scissor-action mechanism allows the gates to pivot to one side, providing a clear passage for forklifts, overhead cranes, or suspended loads.
This innovative gate eliminates the limitations of conventional up-and-over or swing gates, which may obstruct tall loads or extend beyond mezzanine edges. The Hi-Gate is ideal for mezzanines, hoist openings, scaffold platforms, teagle openings, or hoist doorways, where personnel safety and operational flexibility are critical.
The system includes a standard anti-slam damper, preventing uncontrolled gate movement and enhancing operator safety. Optional asymmetric edge gates allow clearance of adjacent handrails, positioning the gate closer to the platform edge for optimal forklift access.
Supplied partially dismantled for shipment, the Hi-Gate is easy to assemble and install. Built with galvanised steel or Safety Yellow thermoplastic-coated steel, the system is durable, corrosion-resistant, and designed for long-term industrial use.
