Description
The Green Pin® Guided Pin ROV Shackle with D Handle – GPROV5362D represents the next level of safety and control in ROV-assisted subsea lifting and release operations.
Manufactured from Grade 8 polar-quality alloy steel, the shackle’s guided-pin mechanism ensures 100 % straight alignment of the pin through the shackle eyes, preventing misalignment and damage during underwater use.
Delivered fully assembled and ready for deployment, the shackle includes a lifting eye on the guiding tube to help ROV operators balance the shackle, while also guaranteeing the pin cannot fall out of the tube. An innovative anti-rotation locking system prevents the pin from turning counter-clockwise and loosening under load or vibration.
Its white-painted body and green-painted pin enhance underwater visibility, and its 5:1 safety factor ensures reliability under the most demanding offshore conditions. Operating from –60 °C to +200 °C, the shackle is supplied without wiring, allowing operators to design their own wiring plan to meet specific project requirements.
Available with either a D-Handle (this model) or Fishtail Handle, the GPROV5362D is ideal for oil & gas, subsea engineering, and heavy offshore lifting projects where safety, alignment, and remote precision are critical.
